Great quality drone. The battery lasts about 34 minutes of flight time. I flown this drone a lot and really enjoy it. The drone camera quality is amazing and is very clear. The drone came with a high quality controller with a good carrying bag. The drone is very easy to fly with automatic landing and takeoff. The drone has a lot of different modes to choose from like follow me, vr, and much more. This drone is for anyone looking for a good drone at a low price.

This Drone is very well built and has features that are comparable to drones costing hundreds more! The video quality and photo quality is superb and image stabilization is essentially flawless. GPS connection.is strong and controls are well positioned. Return home feature is excellent landing within 12 inches or less from its take off point. While not the carrying case you may have seen with earlier models, it's still a great carrying case. One tip, as the manual states make sure your charging block is 5V 3A or you may find the battery will not fully charge. The transmitter/controller seems to be a bit more lenient on charging block requirements. This Drone does require registration with FAA which takes only a few minutes. If you are a beginner Drone pilot that wants a drone that is not a toy and has incredible video and photo quality this is the one you should buy as your first Drone and I'm betting your future drones will be Holy Stone drones as well!

I have been flying the HS720G that I bought back in May of 24. It has absolutely been a dream to fly. I have been in the market for a while now. I have been looking for a larger drone, one that can handle a little more wind. Something that has some weight to it, something over 250g and has remote ID built in. I Have settled on the HS600 which I bought on Amazon. It was on sale for $319 and also gat a $100.00 coupon which brought it down to $219.00 dollars. It had everything I was looking for. 2-Axis Gimbal with 4K EIS, 4K/30FPS Camera, Integrated Remote ID, 10000 FT Range Transmission, GPS, and Brushless Motors.It arrived on a Monday and couldn’t wait to get home and open it up. I Unboxed it and I could not wait to fly it. Once again Holy Stone ships the drone with the battery at ¾ charge. Went through the config, inserted a SD card and it was ready to go.Unlocked the motors, pushed up on the left stick and Boom, it was airborne. It just hovered in the same spot with very little movement. Went through some of its features (Follow me, and Waypoint Tracking) Absolutely giddy with the way it was flying. This drone was amazing. I was flying in a slight wind so I don’t know how it will fly in a little bit more wind but I think it will be able to handle it with no problem. Battery getting low so it was time to test the Auto Return Home. WOW it landed within 4 ft. of where it took off from, Outstanding.Final thoughts. Holy Stone you absolutely nailed it on this (HS600) drone. It was AMAZING for the first flight out of the box; this drone went above and beyond any of my expectations and was an absolute joy to fly.I would recommend this drone to anyone that is looking for a drone.Thank you, Holy Stone, for an amazing Drone.

Just received my HS600 and have completed my first flight! This is my first quadcopter drone, and it is very easy to fly. I read through the instruction booklet (well written and very easy to understand) and watched the intro videos provided by Holy Stone and others on YouTube. I had no problem flying it around the park and taking pictures and videos on my very first flight!What do you need to get started? No charger is included so you’ll need a USB charger capable of 5V 3.0A (15W). All the charging ports on the batteries and transmitter are USB-C. The kit comes with two short USB-A to USB-C cables. I used a two-port charger (45 W) that provided two USB-C ports and two high quality (5A capable) USB-C to USB-C cables to charge the two batteries (about 4 hours) and then the transmitter (about 2 hours). You’ll also want to get a 128 GB MicroSD card. (The documentation refers to a “TF Card” but that’s just another name for MicroSD. Be sure to get one that is rated at least U1. I’m using a U3 card which is fine. Do not get a card larger than 128 GB as the drone cannot utilize anything larger than that.I used my Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra with its Torras case. This is one of the larger phones and it fits into the transmitter’s phone holder without a problem.This drone is heavy, 557 grams according to my scale, so you’ll need to register it with the FAA before flying. This is done online at faadronezone-access.faa.gov and is very easy to do. You will need the drone’s Remote ID serial number which you’ll find on a sticker on the side of the drone’s body. There’s a $5 charge. Once you have the registration number create a label and affix it to the HS600 body.The drone is very stable in the air not only because of its excellent GPS and software, but also because it is heavier than other drone “toys”. It is capable of handling wind speeds up to about 25 to 31MPH. Hopefully you’ll never need to test that! But being able to handle such winds will come in handy at the beach or in the mountains. You’ll find that the drone is very stable in the winds and gusts that you’ll typically fly in. An option within the App permits images to be captured at 4000 by 3000 pixels, an advantage as it permits you to crop the captured images afterwards to get exactly the shot you want. Video may be set to 2.7K at 30 fps or 4K at 20fps. The 5x zoom is very useful. The two-axis gimbal helps deliver very smooth and steady cinematic video.As a beginner I really liked the return-to-home and auto-land features. There are several other automatic features making this a very intelligent camera platform. All around it is a very solid performing drone, very well built, and an excellent beginner’s drone. The only drawback is that this drone does not provide any obstacle avoidance, although it does provide an altitude ceiling and a radius distance fence. Its many advanced features will enable this drone to continue to be a favorite as you advance from novice to advanced piloting.

I’ve never flown or set up a drone before. This one was so easy. For the money it has great features and value. I started in beginner mode but quickly exited and it had great stability and responsiveness. After I connected it the first time, it was very easy maintain connectivity. I was surprised how clear the camera is and with the gimbal the camera was easily controlled without moving the drone. When it returned home, it landed very close to takeoff location but not exactly. I wish the batteries lasted longer or you could purchase an extended time battery. I will be using the drone for my YouTube Channel DunbarLand Farms where I highlight my projects with my Bobcat Skidsteer and Kabota Tractor.

I'm 68 and have been flying drones for almost 4 years. This is the best drone Holy Stone drone I've flown!8/31/24 I received the drone yesterday, but couldn't fly it until today, due to rain. Today, I had several flights that lasted 28.5 minutes. Not bad for a 28 minute battery! The last flight was an automatic return because of low battery power. The flights were perfect.9/2/24 had a few flights today. The battery drained after about 21 minutes. That probably because it trickled down after not flying for 2 days.9/3/24 had a few great flights and the battery lasted 29 minutes. Although I had a charged battery, I was able to charge it a little more today.9/4/24 had a few more flights today and the battery lasted 30 minutes! Great pics and videos.

A lot of great features for a not terrible price. Drone takes really nice video and images, and the streaming back to the phone is very consistent. Flight isn't overly difficult and the wind resistance is very impressive. This is my second drone but was really quick to figure out and use. Fly home GPS mode is also great and gives you a bit of confidence to fly the drone further out.

This is my first done and I have completed my first flight today. The drone has a very powerful motor, and it is relatively easy to fly for beginners. The instructions are easy to follow. It takes high quality pictures and videos, and it is a joy to fly. It appears to have a high qualify built. It is a great drone at a great price. I highly recommend it.

This is one of the best drone I have purchased. I purchased few different brand of drones but among them holy stone is the best n it is priced decently.I recommend this because it is very easy to use and it's is very stable drone anyone can fly this drone. The pic n vdo taken from this drone is very high quality and it's easy to use.I have flown this drone up to 1 km without any issue this drone is very stable in high wind and there in no connection issue.This drone is larger in size than other drone I'm guessing because it has to hold a larger battery it's build like this however this drone is very stable and very easy to control.I recommend this to anyone who wants to fly drone n take great videos n pictures.

This HS600 came in packaged beautifully with very good care into the carrying case. Right out of the gate, I was impressed. After charging this drone up, I opened everything up and set it up for it's maiden flight. Calibration was super easy and did not take long at all to do. This drone sat for a few minutes hovering without moving much at all with a decent wind behind it. I took this drone up and flew around, checking out the area around me while snapping a few cool shots. The photos are a bit hazy due to the humidity we were having, but they still came out really good. I'm very well impressed at how easy the controls were, the responsiveness, and how well the return to home worked on its first try. This drone is by far the best for the money I have seen and the GPS strength was great the whole time. After 15 minutes of flight I still had around 65%ish battery left, so definitely impressed with this as well! Over all this thing is a beast!

What I really like about the Holy Stone HS600:The props are single piece - I do not like the spit props that other drones have.The app just plain works without being confusing.The remote only has a few buttons to learn without worrying about hitting the wrong thing.The remote has a range extender built in.If you're a Fuji fanboy (or girl) like me, you're in for a treat because you get a Fuji HD wifi camera.Here's what I don't like about the drone:Nothing.I own several drones and after a bad drone purchase, I decided to up my game and get a real drone. After a lengthy search and research I ordered a Holy Stone HS 600 because they have a great reputation and their customer service is amazing. Add to that the dozens of positive reviews on YouTube and the 600 got the nod. Everyone I mention the 600 to on social media always replies "that's a solid drone."In all the time I've been flying since 2014, very rarely am I satisfied with a drone purchase. Most drones have various issues that prevent them from being fun until you re-engineer the whole thing.The Holy Stone HS600 flew straight out of the box, first time every time. On a normal flight day, I fly a dozen times, keeping the batteries cycling on the charger. If it's windy or very gusty, I never flew for fear of losing the drone. Not so with the 600! It just sits there in the air no matter the wind or gusts. Believe me, I fly a lot around trees and after the first few time, I don't even worry about wind anymore.

A great deal on the upgrade and better features than my 2019 drone. I had thought the pictures from the old drone looked good and this is nearly four times the image resolution with multiple stabilizations, the pictures look great so far. It's got a narrower field of view than the old drone but it probably doesn't matter, for one thing it will automatically take a 360 degree view without the obvious barrel distorton I got from the old drone anyway, plus it has a zoom that reduces the field of view anyway. First flight was a little difficult but probably because it starts in "beginner" mode and has restricted range, including height plus it seemed to be experiencing a little drift from wind force. Even so, on first flight a friend and I were considering his rooftop ham radio antennas when we are both not practically able to stand on the roof, friends had helped get the antennas there. So, he and I had this drone fly up to a rooftop standing position while we stayed on the ground, viewed live and took pictures, confirming the antenna with the most wind force applied is solidly mounted from his personal "viewpoint". We got good results as well as recognized I had a lot to learn flying a new aircraft and have a new set of controls in what's a new app to me. Second flight was much better, about an hour before a nice sunset. I disabled "beginner" mode making it possible to get higher than nearby obstacles and feel better about flying in any direction less evidence of wind drift so spent more time flying and felt in more control. Photos are from second flight. Camera images have better detail in medium field objects (ike the rooftop solar panel pictures, some were taken while using the orbit a location feature, i.e. 16 foot orbit near my home taking a shot whenever I liked the view and at varying height and zoom levels). Short field (selfie) has more blur, probably because shake has a broader effect on the close object and perhaps from zoom level. Far field shots seemed a bit blurry (blurry when looking into sun isn't a fair criticism and looking away from sunset is better detailed but both views are still nice pictures from a great alternative persective from ground shots). In fairness about which field has best shots, it is documented that the lens is fixed focus and I'm not surprised it favors medium field shots since a drone is kind of handy to go look at objects more than to look at scenes. The GPS follow-me mode could be a bit of fun. I have enjoyed photography for decades and when I first flew a drone of my own I was really thrilled by the alternative viewpoint from taking pictures only where I can reach on foot. Looking at the image from the drone camera (even stills after use) it feels like being in-position on the drone to me. Back n 2020 using my 2019 drone doing my own home roof review after installing solar was a good feeling and I didn't need to use a ladder. Well this drone has about four times the picture resolution of that 2019 drone fun, image stabiization and many more options. One of the most basic but best personal reasons for the new purchase was that my giant screen cellphone now fits in the grip on the remote flight controlller but was too wide for the grip on the controller of my 2019 drone. I'm already dreaming compositions including more of the local mountains from the air rather than the ground, the forest view in fall from the air will be nice. I didn't get bad shots from a handheld camera on the ground but a drone adds an extra perspective for photography composition that I've really found worth having. It's more than just flying for me.

I recently purchased this drone. Was looking for one that was sturdy, can transmit for a longer range and had great photos/videos at a reasonable price. This was the drone! When it arrived I unboxed everything. Was larger and heavier than I thought so I knew it would be able to fly in windy conditions. Charged the batteries and controller immediately. Read through the manual a few times and it was time to test it out. If you follow the steps to get it running it's pretty simple, and started right up. I kept it in beginner mode on this first trip. It was very windy and the drone held it's own. It was very stable. Tried out some of the features like RTH, follow and victory hand gesture. All worked great. Max speed was almost 35, had it as high as 100 feet, and flew it for 33.2 min on one fully charged battery. Thought that was awesome! The weather has been nasty so I can't wait to get it out again and push the limits a bit more. Overall, I think it's a great drone, looking forward to getting some fantastic photos and videos as I explore.

Great drone flys well even in wind.

I got the HS600 as a (big) step up from the HS430, because I wanted a drone that can be used outside and in moderately windy condition but is still more on the beginner side (I don't know how serious I will get about this drone flying hobby) and the HS600 seems to fit the bill very nicely.It sure has the range and speed to get you into trouble if you're not careful.You have to register with the FAA since it weighs more than 250g, but that is not a big deal since it has an integrated Remote ID, which will soon be a requirement. It's less work than writing a review, actually! (Btw there is an Android app called 'Drone Scanner' which you can use to test if the Remote ID on the drone works as intended.)You also have to get the FAA TRUST certificate anyways, for flying a drone of any weight.I had one problem that Holy Stone support was not able to resolve - but it was not for lack of trying on their part. Support goes out of their way to be helpful. I have an old Pixel 3 running Android 12 and with this particular setup the FPV stream will freeze after about 2 seconds. The phone doesn't like Wi-Fi connections without internet access and will fall back to mobile data. Disabling mobile data during flights fixed that.Other than that I think the stability, responsiveness, overall features and camera quality are all above what I personally would have expected from a beginner drone in this price range. It is a decent deal and since it is aimed at beginners do not underestimate the value of Holy Stone support, which is part of what you pay for. There's a good chance you will need help at some point and the HS folks ARE helpful.You will read a lot of online reports about Holy Stone drones 'just flying away'. To that, I have to say: Do NOT test the advertised range in any scenario. Of course manufacturers will give you the highest range that can be achieved under optimal circumstances, so take it with a big pinch of salt. I would not even go to a third of the max range. FAA rules are that you always have to have visual contact with your drone, so why would you want a beginner drone to fly almost 2 miles away from you? As an analogue, you wouldn't drive a stock truck the way it's shown in commercials either.Summary:From my perspective as a beginner this is a very good package of capabilities, price and support - especially since you can almost always find big discounts on youtube etc. Comes with a great, actually useful carrying case as well.I don't understand why Holy Stone gets so much hate from the DJI folks.Things to improve:- the controls seem a little too sensitive for a beginner drone. I wish that could be adjusted.- the display on the controller is too dim in bright sunlight. I live in a place with lots of sunshine.

I tried my son's cheap drone years ago but without GPS and stabilization it was all over the place, kept crashing, and I never really got into it. I wanted to be able to video things for work and was looking for a 4K drone that was rated well for beginners and came across this one. Even though the company is paying for it, I still wanted to be responsible and not just buy the most expensive one.I have only gotten into the special features like follow mode and point of interest, but so far, they worked great. 4 times out (4 batteries), I have mainly been concentrating on learning to fly around and get familiar with the controls. 3rd battery I let my kids (6 and 8) try it and they did just fine on beginner mode. I took it off of beginner mode on the 4th battery, and started ranging further away and using the camera to guide it. My 4th time out I had it in sport mode zooming around and got about 16 minutes of video before the battery warning started beeping. the batteries take about 3.5 hours to charge and get 18-25 minutes of run time.I have not bought a microSD card for it yet so I have not seen the 4K video, but the 1080 video and pictures it sends to my phone are actually very clear and might actually be adequate for my needs. My first priority was making sure I could fly it.I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a highly capable, beginner friendly drone that does not break the budget. I will update this with video once I have a card in it.

Super easy to set up and good video quality! Awesome starter drone!

This is the first drone that I have flown so my knowledge of Drones is very limited. The drone is pretty easy to control for the most part. I am still learning to operate it and some time get the drone headed in the wrong direction which makes the controls seem to work in the opposite direction.The pictures and video are very good and the zoom works well.The only problem I have had with it is sometimes the gimble works and sometimes it does not. This is probably operator error and I will figure it out in the next flew flights.I live in South Texas where the wind always blows. Today when I flow it the wind speed was 17mph with gust to 22mph. The drone worked well as I flew it over my paster and viewed my cows and my water troughs. I flew it out to a distance of 1000 feet (it was very visible at that distance) and it retuned home well. As I learn to operate it better I will be flying it out to about 4000 feet to check water troughs, cows and predator surveillance. I would like to check my fences with it but that will take a lot of fly time to learn to fly it close enough to the fence to be able to see a broken wire.As for now I am happy with the performance of the drone and I think it will save me time from having to drive out and check on these items,Holly Stone's customer service has been great as I have called them several times with questions about setup and operation of the drone. They have always been very friendly and helpful.The price and quality of the drone is great for my needs and my first drone.

I couldn't be happier. This drone was easy to setup and get flying in a couple of hours. The instructions are clear and well written. Pictures and video are amazing. The flight controls are responsive and easy to learn. All the components seem high quality. The iOS app worked perfectly and pictures and videos were stored automatically. The drone was packed very securely for transport. The included protective carry case is solid. A second battery and spare propellers and tool are included. I've used simple drones in the past - this is a leap forward in capability as well as ease of use. I give this drone and Holy Stone my highest recommendation.
