Holy Stone Drone HS110G

Received as a Christmas gift and I highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn how to fly. Easy to fly The return to home feature removed a lot of the fear of losing it. The picture and video quality is a lot better than I expected compared to a cheap drone I had before

This product is great for beginners and anybody. If you never drove a drone you will learn how to fly easily.

This is a great drone. I had previously had some small indoor ones but wanted one that was more advanced and with good outdoor range without dropping hundreds (or thousands) of dollars. The Holy Stone drone was perfect. It took me a few minutes to figure out the calibration and syncing it with the app but after a few times I got it figured out and now I'm up and running in about a minute.

Very nice beginners drone. Lots of special features. I just don’t let all the steps involved to set the compass before each use. Also - I don’t like seeing the front propellers in the videos.

We used this drone mostly to capture photos and video for our house to sell. Very easy to control and capture. The battery life seems to hold for about 15 minutes which was perfect for us. Not sure if that is long enough for our son to play on if we decided to allow him to use it.

This is a really bad drone I would say. I started liking it as soon as it started but then the real Colors. One of the rotor just stopped working within a few days and at times it follow your instructions but most of the time it just crashes to nearby wall or a car. Won’t recommend.

This review will be a little different from your average review. I will start off by saying I have about 35 minutes total of drone flying experience. After flying a few 6 or 7 minute flights I decided to get more brave, get above the trees and look around. This did not turn out well. I lost line of sight because of a tall pine tree and that was the end of the flight, and the drone. I did get a good picture of a pine tree and some sky from the drone on my phone but I never found the drone. Lesson learned.That is the reason for the HS110G. For a little over $100.00 you can get this one. Startup is similar to the HS720. Read the instructions and you are ready to fly. Depending on how long it takes for your WiFi etc. to hook up you should be ready to go in 15 minutes. I decided to test it in a confined area in my backyard. I wanted to see how difficult it would be to control it in a small area. There are any number of videos you can watch showing you great pictures in large areas, but I see no reason to do the same thing. Watch the video and you will see what I am talking about. Flying this is fun. You can see I crashed it twice, once getting too close to a tree and once landing it without using the return home button. Neither did any damage to the drone. The landing video is separate and I can only send one video. This drone hande's minor crashes well. If you are a beginner like me you can't go wrong with the HS110G. To me, the picture quality is excellent, the soft case and interior with the form fitting foam is tops. The only thing wrong with the HS110G is the person holding the controller. Get one, you won't be disappointed.

Great drone good for beginners pretty darn durable and has great video

This product is so cool, much better than the others I have ever bought. It is easy to control, very friendly for news. It can take pictures and Videos, so useful for me, as I like to go some beautiful places to play.

This thing is a lot of fun! Read and follow the instructions completely or it may end up flying after your dog and crashing into a wall while you watch in horror. Propellers are easy to replace and the kit comes with replacements.

This thing is a blast, handles wind pretty good and has a good range definitely a good drone to learn on

Works great for a beginner! Easy to fly has good flight time and a pretty good camera.

So the drone is really nice but the battery only stays charged for 14 minutes

What a GREAT Company this is!! My son bought me the HS110G for Christmas so after I charged it all up, I went to the Park for my maiden flight to get acclimated to it

This thing is a blast to fool around with. It is my first experience with remote controlled flight (I'm 72 years old and not the "geeky" type.) Although this is a beginner's model it was quite a challenge to set up and learn the controller and app; but the directions were pretty good and operation is fairly intuitive. The feature set is incredible for a piece of technology like this at this price. With GPS and single button RTH there is no fear of losing it and the camera takes good pictures (note that it is in a fixed position and can't be rotated or canted--something I'll be looking for on the next model I buy). It was delivered on time, in excellent condition and very nicely packaged. The carrying case is custom made for this model and is a nice bonus. Charging the batteries in the unit itself is a bit cumbersome and time consuming. If it came with a dedicated battery charger I would have given it five stars. This purchase has put a smile on my face!

wanted a new hobby with my son and the holy stone drone was perfect. We were flying and taking video in minutes. the self landing feature is great and I never felt that I was going to lose or crash the drone as a beginner. This is a great starter drone with some nice advanced features once you get good!

What a GREAT Company this is!! My son bought me the HS110D for Christmas so after I charged it all up, I went to the Park for my maiden flight to get acclimated to it. I didn't want to hit anyone with it so I went just before sunset when the crowds are gone. But by the time I walked into the middle of the park and launched my Drone, it was dark. So I launched and away it went until a gust of wind came and grabbed it took it up, up, up into a Big Tree and that's the last I saw of it. I didn't want to tell my son, so I went to buy another one...That's when I saw the HS110G which has the return home mode and when I called Holy Stone to ask some questions about it, I told them what happened and the lovely young lady said, "Well Sir if you can give me the order number I'll send you out another one as a one-time courtesy" And She Did! How Cool is that? So I returned the 110D and purchased the110G. Oh, Man! It's much better and has so many excellent features that make it very impressive for the price. So, when I got a message on the app you use with the controller telling me my compass lost its calibration I called the company again the lovely young lady I spoke with asked me how I was calibrating the compass and when I told her she said, No problem sir. If you'll give me the order number I'll send out a replacement drone for one time courtesy for no charge. And I said, What about the one I have and she said, Oh, just keep it and use it for parts. I LOVE THIS COMPANY!!! I didn't buy the one that comes with the carrying case so I attached a clasp to the box it came in and cut two slots in the top of the box to insert the landing gear into and made my own carrying case. You can see it in the pictures I included. Folks, You don't need to look any farther for your Drone. Holy Stone has EXCELLENT products and will clearly take Good Care of YOU! I LOVE HOLY STONE!!
