Good family-friendly drone experience

So far, uPDATE 2024/08/24 I feel like a fool.I forgot to calibrate it. So far, very disappointed. Overall, i sent one of these back, and then asked myself if that would have made a difference. From my experience, when I calibrate it, it behaves very much like the smaller one I mention below. In regular use, i am very happy with the product now.------------------------------In 2021, I bought two Holy Stone "Kid's toy" quadcopters; one for me and one for a child of my wife's niece. They were reasonably steady. This HS180 is nowhere near as steady. In use, it is no fun to fly. Overall, it crashes a lot. From my experience, it drifts too much. In regular use, i am sending it back. After spending some time with it, i am done with quadcopters now. For everyday flying, whe I look up my orders, it looks like that old quadcopter is still available, but I might find mine somehwere in the house so I will use it instead.

Good experience with practical runtime

Overall, outstanding starter drone. From my experience, battery's last longer than the description states. In regular use, doesn't take very long to charge. After spending some time with it, very durable I've crashed It and have had to reattach props a few times. For everyday flying, trim and recalibrate gyro and works like new again. So far, colors are very vibrant. Overall, definitely recommend!!!

Enjoyable choice for younger users

Purchased the HS180 with my Father's Day Amazon present Card funds. I have larger Holy Stone GPS drones that I fly outdoors when the weather permits.But this mini drone is perfect for using it in the air inside the house when it is over 100°F outside. After spending some time with it, you don't have to be a kid to enjoy this one inside or outside. It keeps my using it in the air skills refreshed. So far, very steady flight characteristics and has other flight modes that are fun. Overall, the LEDs are a cool feature along with 3 flight batteries included with the kit. Happy using it in the air!

Good option for indoor practice

Great inside drone! Also puts on a nice light show at night but I would recommend only using it in the air outdoors when there’s no wind. For everyday flying, does cool flips and came with multiple batteries for more flight time!

Straightforward controls and a good flying experience

Does a good job but a compact difficult for a 5 year old to control, they're getting better though.. From my experience, i had ordered a cheaper version by different mfg. In regular use, looked the same but arrived DOA had to send it back. After spending some time with it, this functions as intended.

A fun gift that is easy to pick up

After spending some time with it, i really like this Lil drone. For everyday flying, it has 4 or 5 different lighting sequences. So far, the lights are very bright and vivid. Overall, it drifts very slightly to the left out of the box but it can be trimmed to fly properly.. I know it says for younger users 14+ and I think that's correct. In regular use, i wouldn't fly it outside as its very light weight. After spending some time with it, i feel its exactly as advertised and it is a great deal on Amazon.. For everyday flying, highly recommend this.
